VP Sales Manager (Belgium, Liège)


The VP Sales Media Infrastructure (MI) is responsible for the business development and sales of the MI product line worldwide, and therefore carries a global target. To achieve its target, he will leverage the global sales force by leading GTM and supporting the sales people on the field.

Job Description

  • Global transversal role;
  • Matrix-type organization, meaning that he oversees all MI sales, without having direct reports;
  • Main interface between the Markets & Solutions team and the sales team for MI solutions;
  • Carries the yearly Media Infrastrucure target;
  • Develops growth strategies and plans
  • Participates in the yearly business planning and QBR;
  • Increases client base
  • Creative and comes up with Go To Market initiatives, business development ideas and lead generation campaigns;
  • Hands-on role, expected to be on the field to support local sales forces and show leadership to promote the MI product line;
  • Figure head in the main MI sites, located in Gilze, NL, and Reading, UK.
  • Attends industry meetings, tradeshows, and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
  • Investigates new business model or product opportunities with the market managers
  • Communicates on a monthly basis the results of these investigations
  • Presents business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
  • Identifies opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Plans and prepares sales presentations on new products and new solutions that are aligned with clients' needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Works on value propositions and helps sales comprehend the best business opportunity, the sales approach and positioning of the product or solution
  • Challenges, helps and assists in the modelling, analyses and implementation of new models
  • Identifies and develops the company’s unique selling value propositions and differentiators
  • Develops a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs


  • 10+ years of sales experience in the media infrastructure market
  • Existing network of Contacts
  • Demonstrated success at opening new business
  • Proven track record of complex sales, with complex technology
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Personal interest in technology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Conflict resolution
  • Self-motivated and ability to motivate a team
  • Experience working towards and exceeding targets
  • In-depth knowledge of products and value proposition
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Excellent team player
  • Resistant to stress
  • Willingness to travel (50%+)
  • Languages: Proficiency in English, French and/or Dutch are a plus
