System Test Engineer (Netherlands, Gilze)

SCOPE

We are looking for a System Test Engineer for our R&D team in Gilze, the Netherlands. The products under test are often embedded systems with a focus on VHDL and software

The team consist of approximately 30 employees and you will be working together with software architects, system test engineers, hardware-, software- and FPGA developers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Participates in product creation process in an early stage with the focus on QA
Delivers QA in all phases
Uses test strategies, methods, and tools
Executes the product tests and reports the results and verifies bug fixes
Contributes to the rollout and perfection of continuous integration and delivery
Creates automated tests
Member of a multidisciplinary scrum team
Work closely with test engineers in other scrum teams and customer support engineers

PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree Technical Computer Science
Minimum of 4 years’ experience with (system) testing
Experience with embedded systems with software, hardware, and firmware
Experience with continuous delivery: setup, maintenance and improvement of test frameworks and environments
Experience with Agile development methods like Scrum
Experience with QA technology and tools (Jira, Xray, GitLab CI/CD)
Practical knowledge of Python, pytest and C++, Linux is an asset
ISTQB certified, advanced level
Communicative, written and verbal in Dutch and English
A flexible team player who can also work independently
A multi-tasker with a helicopter view
Creative, pragmatic, solution-oriented
Quality driven.

Languages:

Fluent in English and Dutch
